This first night on Maui, a heavenly sunset from our hilltop cabana above Kihei.
We landed and shopped at Foodland before settling in for the evening. Mai Tais and sushi complete the dinner for this exhausted duo.
A baby gecko chirps as Dan finds enough energy to make a batch of Macaroni salad,which he loads up with peas and a maui onion.
Sunset was at six p.m. We'll watch the Maui Travel channel to plan tomorrow's adventure. Dan's first impression. . . ."we've made a Big Mistake!" My first impression, "Why would anyone turn an island paradise into Los Angeles look alike?" (gaudy)
I laid down on our four poster bed and honestly, couldn't stand back up.
Dan came to get me. Let's go to bed early!
We explored the swimming pool just feet from our bedroom door and fell asleep watching the ocean. It is so quiet here and there are a million stars!
